We have a document template we're using for every book we're producing. We are looking for a contractor who can take an unformatted Word document and apply the formatting from our template. Since they will only be using the existing styles, this resource is a junor level candidate at a rate significantly below what we'd pay a writer/editor.
I can teach the process to someone with a basic familiarity of Word, who is detail oriented, and has a good work ethic.
Can you recommend someone who might be able to perform this role? If you'd like to recommend yourself, please include an hourly rate you'd want for this type of work. I'm an advocate of "split billing" where different tasks pay different rates.
We're looking for a junor level candidate who can assist with preparing our cover designs. We're using pre-built book cover templates so a basic framework is already in place. They'll select one or more of the templates and prepare "mock ups" using photos from our stock photography account. Photoshop experience is required. Do you have someone you can recommend?
